If there's one thing the drivers can agree on it's that Suzuka is a brilliant circuit and they all want to win on it. The only figure 8 circuit on the calendar, this Japanese track is a unique combination of challenging corners, from the flowing first few turns of 'the esses', up and around the double degner and through the hairpin and around the challenging spoon at the back end of the track. And that's before we get to one of the most renowned corners in the world, the mighty 130R.
One thing for certain is Flouncy will be hard to beat at this circuit. Of the three races ran here to date, Flouncy has set pole for each of them, by an increasingly comfortable margin. However, securing pole in Season 4 may prove more difficult for the Ferrari driver, with Atomic Lambo last round showing his no longer likely to fall prey to his previously 'boogie' tracks in the orient: Singapore and Suzuka, after a great win.
It may not go Lambo's way either: Suzuka is by far his worst track and if he's going to do poorly anywhere, it will likely be here. Throw the two Mclarens into the mix and we have a recipe for an epic struggle for pole. And that's doing the disservice of ignore the likes of Eradicator84, HolyGhost79, ET ROM, and Modz85, which we should definitely not.
Come race time we can expect an expectant Flouncy to push his way though to the front of the grid and lead from there, with the rest hard charging but squabbling amongst themselves for the minor podium places.
All that said, if you're going to put money down, it's hard to look past bobaj0r at this circuit with 3/1 odds, Flouncy with 4/1, Atomic Lambo with 15/2 and TurrbalTerror at 10/1. The darkhorse at the early stage is Modz85, with 20/1 odds. Expect HolyGhost79 to gain the most places as he again goes for a prime tyre start and runs longer than anyone else.
